These were growing last year on our cherry tomato plant given to us by my sister Celia to grow in our garden. This year we have been given a tomato plant that my colleague Dianne grew in her greenhouse from seeds. Jade has planted it out with some soil in a plant pot. To help it get some nutrition she buried underneath the soil some vegetable waste from our kitchen. Unfortunately we have a squirrel that comes in the night to dig up the tasty smelling food Jade has buried so the poor plant ends up in a heap by the plant pot. It seems to have recovered and Jade hopes to deter it with sticks stuck in the soil around the plant.
